We are seeking a permanent, part-time Assistant Coordinator for Petrie Community OSHC in Petrie.
Petrie Community Outside School Hours Care is located on the grounds of Our Lady of the Way Catholic Primary School. Operating for over 15 years, our service offers before, after school care, and vacation care for 90 children.
Our service follows an after-school care family approach, and we prioritise caring for one another and maintaining strong relationships with all children and families. We are a family-oriented service, and we aim to offer a home away from home atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:
- Program planning, delivery, and documentation.
- Staff rostering and supervision.
- Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
- Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare
Job Requirements: - Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
- Experience in the education and care of children.
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
- Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
