We're looking for a casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) to join our team at St Ambrose's Outside School Hours Care in Newmarket. We offer before and after school care, as well as vacation care, for up to 70 children—providing high-quality care and support in the heart of the Newmarket.
Located in the Bolton Centre on the school grounds, we enjoy a unique connection with St Ambrose’s School and parish, fostering a close-knit, supportive environment where children thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- You will be pivotal in developing our children's lifelong love of learning.
- Can build a strong rapport with our families, educators, and community.
Job Requirements: - Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent) would be beneficial
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the childcare industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and school age care
- Effective workplace communication skills
