We are seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Coordinator to join Centacare’s Quality, Risk and Governance Unit (QRGU). This role supports Centacare staff to strengthen risk and compliance practices and embed the Quality, Risk and Governance Framework across our services.
About the role:
- Maintaining Centacare’s risk and obligations registers.
- Providing advice to staff to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Working closely with service delivery teams, you will lead the development and review of policies and procedures to meet operational needs and regulatory obligations.
- You will also act as the central point of contact for planning and coordinating external compliance audits under frameworks such as NDIS, Aged Care, and HSQF.
What you will bring: - A strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance systems.
- Familiarity with the community services sector—including community aged care, disability services, family and relationship services, or early childhood education —is highly regarded
- National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
- Blue Care and NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card).
- Proof of right to work – Australian Birth Certificate, Passport, citizenship or Visa.
