About the Role:

Join a purpose-driven People & Culture team supporting the diverse HR needs of parishes, ministries, and community services across Southeast Queensland.
We’re seeking a skilled and relationship-focused HR Business Partner to provide high-quality HR advisory support to clergy, managers, and employees across our Precinct/Parish and Centacare Family & Relationship Services (CRFS) sectors.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of People and Culture, you’ll provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, onboarding, compliance, and organisational development while partnering with key stakeholders to build a safe, respectful, and capable workforce.

What You’ll Do

• Provide HR advice and support to parish priests, managers, and staff
• Coach leaders on performance, policy, employee relations, and change management
• Lead and support HR compliance including safeguarding, onboarding, and employment records
• Assist with restructures, investigations, awards interpretation, and contract matters
• Contribute to continuous improvement in HR practices across diverse ministries

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, NES, Awards, and best practice HR
• Demonstrated experience in a business partnering role supporting multiple sites or services
• High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage complex employee matters with professionalism and discretion
