Join Our Team as Assistant Coordinator – Keperra OSHC
We’re looking for an experienced educator to support the daily operations of our vibrant Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service at St William’s Catholic School in Keperra.
This is a permanent, part-time role (37 hours/week), Monday to Friday, with split shifts.
Our OSHC caters to up to 195 children and offers before and after school care, vacation care, and care on pupil-free days. We run a flexible, child-led program that celebrates each child’s curiosity, creativity, and culture. Our approach empowers children to explore, discover, and shape their own learning in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including:
- Program planning, delivery, and documentation
- Staff rostering and supervision
- Administration and financial management tasks (e.g. fee collection)
- Assist in the delivery of a high quality, inclusive, educational program
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Participate in professional and personal development
- Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the coordinator.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Centacare Child Care Services
Job Requirements: - An ACECQA-approved school-age qualification, including studies in education, community services, health, therapy, sports, or creative arts.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
- Experience in the education and care of children.
- Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred)
- Effective workplace communication and leadership skills
