We are seeking an experienced and strong leader to take on the role of Head of Client Safety and Continuous Improvement. Reporting to the Director, Quality, Risk and Governance in this vital leadership position you will drive excellence in client safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring Centacare’s diverse range of services—from disability and aged care to family support—deliver meaningful, measurable, and sustainable outcomes.
Your Opportunity to Lead and Make a Difference
In this role, you will:
- Lead and inspire the Client Safety and Continuous Improvement team, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and client-centred practice.
- Drive service excellence by managing complex case reviews, root cause analyses, complaints, and quality KPIs—translating findings into strategic improvements.
- Strengthen client safeguards, guiding the submission of mandatory reports and ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations.
- Implement robust governance processes, develop tools and systems to support operational teams, and ensure best practice in service entry, client safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner across the organisation, influencing senior stakeholders, coaching frontline leaders, and supporting Centacare’s commitment to accountability and service innovation.
- Provide strategic insight, using data and qualitative analysis to identify emerging risks, trends, and opportunities to improve service delivery.
What You'll Bring We are looking for a dynamic and values-aligned leader with:
- A relevant qualification in health, social sciences, governance, or a related discipline.
- At least five years' experience in a senior leadership role within large-scale community services, ideally in aged care, disability, or similar sectors.
- Expertise in client safety, quality governance, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and guide multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders.
- A track record in operational excellence, with a strong grasp of legislation, service metrics, and data-driven decision making.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen, and the ability to manage competing priorities while keeping client safety and dignity at the forefront.
