We’re partnering with a privately held New Zealand investment group with interests spanning property, financial services, construction, and technology. They’re looking for a Finance Manager who thrives in hands‑on environments and enjoys real responsibility from day one.
This role sits at the centre of a complex, multi‑entity finance ecosystem. You’ll manage the financial operations of the Stonewood Homes franchise network, lead treasury and cash management across the group, oversee an offshore finance team, and ensure tax and IFRS compliance across multiple New Zealand and Australian entities.

About the Role
You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and Managing Director to run the operational heartbeat of the finance function. This is not a review‑only role — you’ll process payments, run daily cash positions, file GST returns, manage franchise billing, and lead a small team across NZ and offshore.
You’ll also play a key role in transitioning several entities to NZ IFRS RDR reporting, ensuring the group meets IRD requirements as it continues to scale.
