Your Opportunity

Due to continued growth and project wins, RSGX is seeking experienced HV Test Technicians (primary & secondary), and Engineers to join our team where you'll be working on mission critical, energy, renewable, and utility projects across Victoria, and under an ETU EBA.

As a qualified professional, you take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards. This opportunity may see you performing based on your experience and qualifications:

• Protection relay and HV cable, transformer, CT/VT testing
• Primary and secondary injection testing
• Circuit breaker timing and contact resistance testing
• Primary Transformer and HV Switchgear Testing.
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conducting fault finding and problem-solving in HV Protection systems.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of completed work.
• And adhering to all company and site-specific safety procedures.
• Secondary Injection Protection Testing for those with secondary experience.

What We're Looking For

You're proactive, reliable, and results-driven, able to work autonomously, solve problems, and deliver as part of a high-performing team. You bring strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and an uncompromising focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Electrical trade qualification and HV switching ticket with proven experience in HV testing and commissioning.
• Experience working with various OEM protection relays.
• HV switching and operations experience
• Experience with protection relays and switchgear
• Site-specific HV authorisations

High Desirable:

• First aid, LVR and CPR course
• Familiarity with VLF / Hi-Pot cable testing
• Advanced Diploma of ESI - Power Systems
• HV cable termination and jointing experience
• HV test equipment training (equipment training can always be provided).
