Electrician – FIFO | 20:8 Roster

RSGx is currently seeking experienced WA Licensed Electricians to join our team on a major industrial construction project.
  
Our scope of works includes construction and installation works across a large-scale industrial processing plant, including cable tray, cabling, terminations, commissioning support and electrical/instrumentation installation works.

• $56.00PH base rate + $5.40PH site allowance + Overtime penalty rates on base hourly rate
• 10 hrs paid per day
• 20:8 roster

Mandatory qualifications and licences:

• Full WA A Grade Electrical Licence
• Australian Trade Certificate – Electrical
• Working at Heights
• Construction White Card
• High Risk EWP
• First aid – within 2 years
• CPR/LVR – within 1 year
• Working at heights
• Valid Driver’s Licence

Preferred experience and requirements:

• Previous FIFO and major construction experience
• Experience in heavy industrial, mining, construction, Oil & Gas or chemical processing environment
• Experience working on major construction, commissioning, shutdown or maintenance projects
• Ability to pass the standard pre-employment medical and random regular drug and alcohol testing before mobilising and on site
• Australian working rights

The Role
  
As a qualified Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical construction and installation activities across the project, including:

• Installation of cable tray and electrical containment systems.
• Cable pulling, routing, glanding and termination works.
• Electrical installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Electrical equipment installation and connection.
• Supporting commissioning activities and electrical testing.
• Working alongside instrumentation and construction teams to coordinate installation activities.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and project documentation.
• Carrying out electrical works to required quality and project standards.
• Identifying and resolving construction and installation issues as required.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity throughout all works.
• Working safely and efficiently within a major industrial construction environment.
