Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Manager to join our rapidly expanding organisation. Reporting into the National General Manager HSEQ, you will play a pivotal role as a regional lead for Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania, continuing our journey of excellence, safety, and sustainable growth.
In this role you will serve as the primary source of legislative and regulatory advice across all QHSE matters for the region, ensuring management is informed, documentation is current, and quality accreditations are maintained through a structured internal audit schedule. You will liaise with registration bodies, customers, and suppliers as required, while supporting regional offices and projects through third party audits and driving a standardised approach to quality and service delivery.
Day-to-day you will maintain and continuously improve the management system, refining procedures, safe systems of work, and supporting teams on Risk Assessments and Method Statements, while building regional capability through established QHSE qualification standards and training programmes. When incidents arise, you will hold full authority over investigations and provide direct client support on QHSE matters across our Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania projects.
What you'll bring
Formal HSE qualifications and demonstrated experience on major projects within the mining, resources, or infrastructure / construction sector. Experience working on electrical and mechanical projects will be highly regarded.
You will possess strong working knowledge of HSE Legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards, and management systems including ISO45001 and ISO14001, with hands-on experience in auditing, site inspections, and hazard identification.
You will be a confident investigator, experienced in ICAM or similar methodologies, with the ability to design and deliver training across a broad team as required. Strong communication skills, the ability to engage at all levels, and a valid Driver's Licence are essential for this regional role.
