The Role: As RSGx continues to grow here in WA we are seeking an Assistant Accountant to support our financial management stream here in our Burswood office. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be an integral member of the WA team dedicated to providing financial and accounting support to the local business.
 
Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounts in Xero
• Assist with accounts receivable and payable functions
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements
• Assist with billings in Xero and claim preparation.
• Manage daily cost tracking to ensure correct WBS/Project use and monitor cost control.
• Prepare end-of-month journals and accruals.

Requirements:

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in accounting highly regarded
• General accounts or book keeping experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero, EFTsure) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
