We are seeking Electrical Project Engineers to oversee construction and installation of substations for a major energy transition project. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the transformation of the energy sector, ensuring the successful delivery of renewable and sustainable power solutions.

This is a DIDO position from Perth to the WA Mid West on 8:6 roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise to the project team, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
• Resolve technical issues and deliver solutions to engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in implementation of QA/QC procedures.
• Maintain open and effective communication with all project stakeholders.
• Identify and understand scopes of work and support the supervisory team with execution, including procurement.

Essential:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia).
• Experience in delivering high-voltage infrastructure projects.
• 5 years+ of project engineering experience on major mining projects.
• Strong technical and construction capabilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSE and QA.
• In-depth knowledge of on-site construction.

Highly Desirable:

• Ability to interpret and follow design models and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of mining construction practices and procedures.
• Experience working on remote projects
