The Role:

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Commissioning Supervisors with experience in oil and gas to join us for an upcoming Shutdown.
Having an advanced Rigging qualification is essential for this role.


Key duties will include but not be limited to:

• Supervisor a team of Mech Techs (approx. 10 persons per shift)
• Overseeing the installation Workpacks, in accordance with the project specifications and design.
• Actively liaising with subcontractors, project engineers and suppliers.
• Full supervision of installation teams at site.
• Management of correspondence, as directed by the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with all QA and reporting processes.
• Assisting Project Engineers in reviewing and monitoring and planning construction progress against program and budget.
• Undertake any ad-hoc initiatives and tasks, as directed by the Superintendent & PM.

The Details:

• Roster: 5-week shutdown 13/1,13/1, 6days
• Start Date: 25/08/2025

The Person:

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Be proficient with PTW and LOTO procedures 
• Experience with Flange management 
• Ability to use a PC/Laptop for emails, permit prep, printing drawings etc.
• Ability to use a CCMS (completions commissioning management system) software e.g., Hexagon or PIMS (desirable)
• Motor coupling and rotating equipment e.g. pump & fan alignments 
• Nitrogen Leak Testing (desirable)
• Oil & Gas experience. (mandatory)

Qualifications Essential:

• Trade Certificate
• Advanced Rigging Certificate 
• Construction Industry White Card
• Working at Heights
• Valid High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
• Driver’s Licence
