Project Director (M&E Delivery) – Major Infrastructure Program

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Director to lead the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) delivery across multiple sites within a major, multi-year infrastructure program. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where your impact will be felt at scale—both within the organisation and across the national infrastructure landscape.
 
You’ll be joining an established, rapidly expanding contractor with a reputation for technical excellence, collaborative delivery, and consistent performance on some of the country’s most complex infrastructure projects.

About the Role

As Project Director, you will:

• Take full accountability for the successful planning, delivery, and commissioning of complex M&E systems across multiple locations
• Lead a large & diverse team covering engineering, delivery, commercial, and operational disciplines
• Oversee the integration of electrical, mechanical, fire, communications, and control systems into civil and architectural frameworks
• Manage interfaces with client representatives, design consultants, delivery partners, and internal stakeholders
• Champion a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement across a high-pressure, multi-year delivery schedule

What You Bring

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale M&E scopes in infrastructure or major transport environments
• Strong leadership credentials, including managing large, multidisciplinary teams across multiple worksites
• Proven ability to drive results through strategic planning, risk management, and program governance
• Sound commercial acumen and experience operating within consortium or public-private partnership (PPP) structures
• A commitment to innovation, integrity, and high performance
