The Position: 
Due to continued growth, RSGx have an exciting opportunity for Electrical Draftsperson (Junior) to join a rapidly expanding organization who are currently engaged on a number of Australia’s most prestigious and iconic projects across the infrastructure, mining and oil and gas sectors.

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 per annum


Your duties will include:

• Utilise Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) design tools to undertake design and drafting activities to develop drawings, plans layouts and designs in accordance with client specifications, relevant standards and legislation. 
• Develop and maintain electrical design drawings, including Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, termination Diagrams, Layouts, panel diagrams, general arrangements and layouts of switchyard equipment including cabling and earthing and other technical drawings.
• Work within a Quality management system to ensure compliant, accurate and consistent deliverables
• Collaborating with designers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain project-specific document control and revisions.

  
  
The Person: 
As the successful candidate you will have:

Essential:

• Qualifications in drafting and design.
• At least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proven project experience and ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent time management, leadership and team work skills.
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
• Understanding of electricity industry drafting requirements.
• ·Ability to interpret Single Line Diagrams and Schematics accurately.
• Ability to work within an embedded client team.
• Highly proficient & efficient AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Flexible to work for home and within the office in accordance with client requirements.
