About the role:
We are recruiting a Senior HSE Advisor for a Tunnel lining construction project in remote NSW, working on a 2/1 FIFO roster, flying from Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.
Reporting to the Project Manager, we are looking for an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to actively coach our workers in promoting a positive and safe culture on a high-risk civil work site.
Your Role:
- Provide Senior HSE support including integration and application of cultural and behavioural frameworks
- Monitor and review Project HSE Management Plans (including Emergency Response Plan)
- Deliver company and client HSE programmes
- Creation of Project specific toolbox topics to address HSE issues and facilitation of toolbox meetings
- Coach and influence site employees
- Management on the Projects hazard and risk management tools to reinforce safe and at-risk behaviours
- Conduct incident investigations and identify causal factors
- Lead HSE inspections with site personnel and coach participants in identifying hazards and controls
- Set up, monitor and review HSE registers
- Build effective working relationships with all stakeholders, including client representatives
About you: - At least 5 years+ in a similar Senior HSE role in large scale infrastructure projects
- Experience in a DIDO or FIFO role with a Civil Contractor
- Prior experience with high-risk tunnelling and/or FRP projects - A must
- Formal OSH Qualifications such as Cert IV or Diploma
- Cert 4 in Training and Assessment - An advantage
- Self-starter with confidence to communicate with all stakeholder levels
