THE ROLE
Due to continued growth and increasing scope of works, Whittens are actively recruiting experienced 2:1 FIFO Steel fixing Forepersons to commence on our FRP project in NSW on underground tunnel / large scale FRP projects. The Foreman role will be responsible for supervising the construction crews (direct labour and subcontractors), ensuring all construction works are executed efficiently and effectively meeting client, HSE, quality, time, budget and contractual requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrated Foreperson experience in a similar role with a self-performing civil contractor.
• Experience working away on remote civil construction sites.
• Capable of operating in a fast paced and frequently changing work environments while undertaking a variety of tasks as directed by line management.
• Underground Tunnelling / FRP project experience - A must 
• DOKA formwork system experience - Highly regarded
• A strong commitment to working safely.
• Be schedule driven and results orientated with an excellent work ethic with demonstrated supervisory skills.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a Drug & Alcohol Screen and police check.
