THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Project Manager, we currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our project team working on a large infrastructure project in remote NSW. The scope of works includes the construction of complex FRP and associated civil works working on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
As the Project Engineer, you will be accountable for:
- Interpreting specifications, draft and maintain drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures
- Comprehensive understand the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings and advise on best engineering solutions to meet project needs and budget
- Create work programs for allocated work packages including large concrete pours
- Logistical management of equipment and materials, and ensure compliance
- Identify variations in work packages and submit list for review
- Planning and cost control
- Prepare and review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by Client
ABOUT YOU: - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management– A must
- At least 5 years post graduate experience with experience working on large FRP infrastructure projects - A must
- Experience with Underground tunnelling projects - Highly regarded
- Experience with Planning software and MS Suite
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
