Calling out in advance for when things get busy later this year. 

This studio team work across bedding and loungewear for airlines and hotels. The design work covers concept ideation, tech specs, Illustrator drawings, and fabric testing.

We’re looking for a freelance designer who can step in and support the team during an upcoming busy period (October/November peak). We're not sure when, how long or what days, but there will come a point and now is the time to start getting prepared. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating tech packs and specs (InDesign + Illustrator) — outlining fabrics, finishes, measurements, labels, and brand assets.
• Working across loungewear, bedding, jacquards, and textile applications.
• Being hands-on with fabrics 
• Bringing experience from apparel, bedding, or textile product design.

The set-up:

• Flexibility to work remote or onsite, remote will require meetings in Melbourne.
• Melbourne-based meetings for sample reviews and team catch-ups.
• A collaborative in-house design team of three — you’ll be covering and supporting during peak periods.

Opportunities could be available for varying skill levels, from 3 years experience upwards.
