About the role:
As the Loader and Unloader, you are responsible for loading and unloading freight between the dockway and the trucks in a safe manner and ensuring the quality and security of the products. The role will also involve Class 4 driving duties and completing local delivery runs as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload freight from linehaul vehicles.
- Load local vehicles in preparation for next-day and same-day deliveries.
- Complete local delivery runs as required.
- Ensure freight is handled safely and securely at all times.
- Wear the correct uniform and PPE provided for the tasks being undertaken and maintain a professional appearance.
- Represent Fliway professionally when dealing with customers and other stakeholders.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping by keeping the internal and external dock areas and depot floor clean, neat and tidy.
- Maintain site security while on duty and when finishing work.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational requirements

What you Bring: - A current Class 4 Driver Licence – essential.
- Previous experience handling freight, including fragile freight, is preferred.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles and completing deliveries is an advantage.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
- Reliable and responsible work ethic.
