About the role:

As the Loader and Unloader, you are responsible for loading and unloading freight between the dockway and the trucks in a safe manner and ensuring the quality and security of the products. The role will also involve Class 4 driving duties and completing local delivery runs as required.
  
 Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload freight from linehaul vehicles.
• Load local vehicles in preparation for next-day and same-day deliveries.
• Complete local delivery runs as required.
• Ensure freight is handled safely and securely at all times.
• Wear the correct uniform and PPE provided for the tasks being undertaken and maintain a professional appearance.
• Represent Fliway professionally when dealing with customers and other stakeholders.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping by keeping the internal and external dock areas and depot floor clean, neat and tidy.
• Maintain site security while on duty and when finishing work.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational requirements

What you Bring:

• A current Class 4 Driver Licence – essential.
• Previous experience handling freight, including fragile freight, is preferred.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles and completing deliveries is an advantage.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
• Reliable and responsible work ethic.
