About the role:
As the Head of Operations – Systems & Inventory, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across systems, inventory and process improvement. You will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data accuracy, stock control and system capability while ensuring our operational teams have the tools and processes, they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and day-to-day management of systems and inventory operations.
- Develop and implement initiatives that improve operational efficiency, productivity and accuracy.
- Drive continuous improvement across inventory processes, systems and workflows.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, stock integrity and effective inventory controls.
- Monitor and improve key operational and inventory KPIs.
- Lead system improvements, upgrades, implementations and process integrations.
- Work closely with IT and operational stakeholders to identify system requirements and resolve issues.
- Ensure systems effectively support business and operational requirements.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement practical and sustainable solutions.
- Develop and maintain appropriate policies, procedures and controls.
- Use data and reporting to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead, coach and develop team members to build capability and accountability.
- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Support business projects, transformation initiatives and operational change.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements and relevant legislation.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the broader business strategy.
What We Offer: - Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:00am in Auckland.

What You Bring: - Proven experience in a senior operations, systems, inventory or supply chain leadership role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and operational processes.
- Experience leading systems improvement, implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of operational costs and performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and ability to challenge existing processes constructively.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, accountability and professionalism.
- Strong Microsoft Office and systems capability; experience with logistics, warehouse or inventory management systems would be advantageous.
