About the role:
An Export Operator is responsible for coordinating international shipments by air and sea, ensuring cargo moves smoothly from origin to destination. The role includes preparing export documentation, arranging bookings with carriers, handling customs clearance, and tracking shipments. Export Operators work closely with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and overseas agents to ensure timely delivery and compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate export shipments (air, sea & land freight).
- Prepare and process export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, COO, etc.).
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and Incoterms.
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers.
- Maintain accurate records and filing of export documents.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and delays efficiently.

What You Bring: - 3 – 4 years of experience in export operations in freight forwarding.
- Good knowledge of customs procedures and export regulations.
- Experience with CW1 and export documentation (MAWB/HAWB, invoicing, packing lists) & willingness to learn another external system
- Strong communication, team player & attention to detail and organizational skills.
- DG Qualification advantageous
- Have covered Air, Sea (LCL & FCL) & Coastal Movements
