About the role:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for providing hands-on leadership, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance across multiple warehouse sites in New Zealand across both Fliway & SCS. This role requires an action-oriented approach, balancing strategic thinking with immediate operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals.
- Select and negotiate with carriers and freight providers.
- Oversee inventory control and stock accuracy.
- Manage warehouse operations and layout efficiency.
- Prepare and manage logistics budgets, Analyse logistics costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Supervise warehouse staff, drivers, and coordinators, Train employees on safety and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws, Maintain safety standards in warehouses and transport.
- Analyze data to improve operational efficiency, prepare reports as and when required.
What We Offer: - Full time Position, 45 hours per week starting Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm based in Auckland.
