About the role:
The Forklift Operator with expertise in using both standard forklifts and clamp attachments is crucial for ensuring efficient and safe material handling within the warehouse. This role focuses on the operation of forklifts and specialized clamp equipment to manage various types of goods, including bulk and non-palletized items
Responsibilities:
• Carrying out your work as outlined in the company training modules, operations manual, policies, rules, standards, and procedures.
• Wearing the correct uniform and PPE that is supplied for the tasks you are doing, and to take care of them and your appearance so you represent Fliway professionally.
• Performing all functions in a safe manner
• Safely load and unload goods from delivery trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and placement to avoid damage.
• Ensure that materials are properly clamped and secured during transportation to prevent shifting or damage.
• Operate standard forklifts to transport, stack, and organize palletized goods throughout the warehouse.
• Ensuring 100% accuracy in all tasks
• Operating computer and scanning hardware and software consistently in accordance with rules and procedures.
• Ensuring a high level of security is adhered to
• Operating all plant and equipment as per operating procedures
What We Offer:
• Full Time positions, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday however times may vary. Generally, from 3am-12:30pm in Auckland!
