About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven professional to support the rollout of our new Warehouse Management System (WMS) across Fliway & SCS Logistics. This fixed-term role is critical in capturing, documenting, and standardising our operational processes, ensuring clear, accurate SOPs and engaging training materials are available for all users. The successful candidate will work closely with operational leaders and the project team to drive consistency, quality, and adoption across the network.
Position Purpose
To support the successful implementation of the new Warehouse Management System (WMS) by developing high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and training materials across all logistics sites.
The role ensures operational consistency, accuracy, and user adoption through clear, well-structured documentation and engaging, fit-for-purpose training resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Documentation
- Work closely with operational leaders, super users, and project teams to capture current and future-state processes.
- Develop, format, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quick reference guides aligned with WMS workflows.
- Standardise document templates and ensure alignment with company branding and compliance standards.
- Validate process content with subject matter experts (SMEs) and ensure version control within the document management system.
Training Material Development
- Design user-friendly training content (presentations, e-learning modules, videos, quick start sheets).
- Translate system functions and operational steps into clear, visual, and practical guides for end users.
- Support training rollout and train-the-trainer sessions across sites as required.
Implementation Support
- Partner with the WMS project and change teams to align documentation and training with implementation timelines.
- Provide on-site support during go-live and hypercare phases to reinforce SOP adoption and user understanding.
- Gather feedback post-training to identify improvement areas for materials or processes.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to simplify or optimise processes while documenting.
- Recommend adjustments to workflows or SOPs based on real-time operational feedback.
What We Offer: - 6-month fixed term contract, 40 per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm in Auckland!!

What you Bring: - 3+ years’ experience in process documentation, technical writing, or training design - within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to translate complex system processes into clear, practical documentation.
- Experience with WMS platforms (Infor, SAP, Manhattan, or similar) preferred.
- Strong MS Office and/or digital authoring tool proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Snagit, etc.).
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
