About the role:
As a Branch Manager, you will lead your Branch to safely deliver its profit and service commitments. Ensure resources are matched to revenue and budgeted profit is achieved consistently while still delivering on customer service levels and building a strong team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participating in national improvement initiatives and demonstrate leadership and teamwork across the Fliway Group.
- Play a role in identifying opportunities to improve quality, safety through materials handling equipment, and automation.
- Maintaining the agreed performance levels for all customers.
- Development of new customers, in conjunction with Sales.
- Completing Claims Investigations and sign-off of Missing Freight Reports.
- Ensuring all pickups, deliveries, customer collections and operational activities are conducted in accordance with safe work practices. Actively promote Health and Safety best practices.
- Organising and facilitating team meetings and toolbox sessions on a regular basis, and ensuring strong communication within the branch.
- Assessing the personal development requirements of key roles and people
- Building team engagement and reducing turnover through active management of Branch culture, in conjunction with H&S, HR and national initiatives.
- Delivering on the budgeted profit.
- Preparing the annual budget for the branch
- Maximising revenue through correct charging of customers, revenue initiatives, training and ongoing monitoring of revenues and billing.
- Weekly review and analysis of financial reports, validation for correctness and undertake appropriate measures to rectify issues.
- Ensuring Branch delivers defined KPIs.
- Ensuring that the organization at Branch level has effective structure, culture, policies and programs to ensure legal compliance and to enhance the health, safety, well-being and support of our people.
- Implementing and monitoring the principles and processes of the company’s performance management system at Branch level.
- Continually seek areas of service, cost and operational improvement, and in conjunction with management, implemented where agreed.

- Planning, recommending, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives to meet the present and evolving business needs of our people.
- Any other duties as requested by management which may be necessary from time to time.
What We Offer: - Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm in Hamilton!

What you Bring: - Solid management experience in an operation role within the Transport/Logistics industry.
- Previous experience in route planning and fleet management
- Previous experience within a sales or account management background.
- Experience with FME, Power BI reporting, E-road system.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication, organizational and problems solving skills.
- Strong professional communication skills – written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to meet time specific deadlines
- Skilled with Microsoft Office suite, and confident using Excel.
