About the role:
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, an IT Support Analyst provides Level 1 and Level 2 support to Fliway internal and external customers across different applications and platforms and works closely with other members of IT to ensure root cause resolution is effective. They ensure operational processes needed for the business run effectively, and that issues and requests are actioned appropriately.
There is also a requirement to participate in the ‘After Hours IT Support Roster’ to ensure that IT support is available 24/7.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to Service Desk incidents according to the Service Desk Management process, within the agreed SLA’s, ensuring root cause resolution.
- Assists with various software and hardware requests and projects across the business.
- Provides technical support and maintenance for company applications and IT equipment.
- Responds to alerts in a timely manner to ensure business continuity
- Works directly with others within the IT Team, as well as users, to deploy and configure software or upgrades using the Change Management process.
- Supports both production and development environments
- Works closely with vendors, as required, to resolve incidents.
- Follows Fliway procedures and policies.
- Escalates issues to the IT Operations Manager if not resolvable within SLA.
- Represents Fliway Group in a positive and professional manner.
- Manages and maintains company phone system and monitoring camera/alarm systems.
- Maintains company network Infrastructure and installing network cabling as requested by company.
- Conducts briefing and demonstration for users to enhance system productivity.
- Assists in the development of training materials and documentation.
- Any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as requested by the company
What We Offer: - Full Time position, 40 per week Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm in Auckland!

What you Bring: - Demonstrated experience in an IT Operations role in a large company with complex workflows and data interactions.
- Operational experience (either in retail, transport, or logistics)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
- Excellent customer service skills, including being proactive in dealing with incidents before or as they occur.
- Understanding of / and ability to solve issues within:
- Windows OS
- Microsoft Office products
- Understanding of database, applications architectures, messaging/data exchange concepts
- Standard PC hardware
- Office 365 Administration
- Basic SharePoint skills
- Basic Microsoft SQL skills
- Middleware, messaging, data exchange concepts
- Basic networking skills (DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, firewalls)
- Network printers
- Basic Telephone Systems knowledge
- Basic AV and Camera system knowledge
- Sound knowledge of Cyber posture
- Proven diagnostic and problem solving / troubleshooting application related problems.
- Ability to challenge status quo and offer suitable alternatives for consideration.
- Good organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and time management.
- High standard of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Collaboratively work with others as part of a high functioning team and proactively provide sound end user support.
- Self-motivated with willingness to learn from colleagues.
