We are looking for an Assistant Accountant - Transport to join the Fliway team!!

About the role:
The Assistant Accountant – Transport Role provides support to the Finance Business Partner in all Transport administrative functions including billing, weekly and month end processes and reporting of Profit and loss accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Owning and producing the Transport Weekly P&L under the guidance of FBP.
• Fleet Management (Maintaining the Master Fleet list and management of Fuel cards, Rego and RUC requirements)
• Processing Revenue billing and related COS and working with project team in automation of process.
• Action EOM journals in preparation for the month end and prepare Sales Reports and other required reports.
• Assisting with QBR presentation work and budgeting.
• Acting as the trainer/super-user on the PO process to support the Branch Managers and Other users.
• Fleet R&M Reporting.
• Provide cover for FBP for the entire month end process.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Owning and producing the Transport Weekly P&L under the guidance of FBP.

What you Bring:
• Tertiary Qualification in Finance & Accounting.
• At least 2 years’ experience working within the Finance Team in an accounting function.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics ERP system will be a plus.
• Microsoft Excel – A minimum of Intermediate level.
• Attention to detail and deadline driven.
• Great communication skills, and a team-first attitude.
• Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
