Are you a legal assistant/EA looking for a new home?   Would you like to work with a highly regarded mid-sized firm in DC?   If so, R & W Group has a great new temp to perm opportunity!   One of our clients is looking for an EA to assist several attorneys, including two partners.   In this role, you would:    

• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars; make travel arrangements; set up conference calls.
• Prepare and submit expense reimbursement reports and check requests.
• Schedule conference rooms and arrange for food service and audio-visual equipment as needed.
• Type, proofread, run comparisons, and edit correspondence, memoranda, agreements and other legal and business documents from notes, templates, drafts, or dictated text under time-sensitive deadlines.
• Open new files, requests conflict of interest checks, maintain client and general file, conduct periodic review of possible storage of older files and prepare files to be closed.
• Drafting engagement agreements
• Prepare trial documents, exhibits, witness binders/files and bates labeling documents
• Perform pdf scanning of documents, court e-filings and electronic pleading clips as required.
• Answer, screen, and respond to phone calls and take messages for attorneys.
• Enter attorney time, process and review monthly bills. High focus on client billing including primary liaison for attorney with the Accounting Department as it relates to client bills.

 
This position requires you to be in the office in DC every day for the first 90 days.  The office is Metro accessible.    Hours would be 9am to 5:30pm with the potential for OT.     Compensation of $30 – 37/hour (DOE).   Benefits upon conversion to a perm employee would include health insurance.   Great team.   Apply online or register with us at www.r-wgroup.com.
