Assistant Owners Corporation Manager
Melbourne CBD | Full-time, Monday to Friday | Training and career progression

Are you an organised administrator with a strong customer-service focus and an interest in the owners corporation sector? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing property management business, supporting a team of experienced Owners Corporation Managers across a diverse portfolio.

You will be provided with hands-on mentoring, industry training and a clear pathway to develop into an Owners Corporation Manager with your own portfolio over time.

The role:
As Assistant Owners Corporation Manager, you will provide essential administrative and customer support to Senior Owners Corporation Managers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a first point of contact for client enquiries via phone, email and in person
• Supporting the management of a diverse residential and commercial owners corporation portfolio
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance for common property
• Maintaining accurate records, databases and documentation
• Preparing meeting agendas, minutes and supporting documentation
• Assisting with debt recovery, arrears follow-up and related correspondence
• Monitoring outstanding balances and following up within agreed timeframes
• Assisting with statutory deadlines and general portfolio administration
• Liaising with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Building your technical knowledge with the long-term goal of managing your own portfolio

About you:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Experience in strata, owners corporation, real estate, administration and/or customer service
• Strong administration, computer and database-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A professional, proactive and client-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail, time management and ability to manage competing priorities
• A practical problem-solving mindset and the ability to follow tasks through to completion
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Knowledge of the Owners Corporations Act 2006, highly regarded
• Familiarity with buildings, plans of subdivision, defects and relevant legislation, advantageous
• Experience using Strata Master and/or Strata Connect, desirable
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
