This is a great opportunity for an experienced commercial property professional to join a well-established real estate business servicing Melbourne’s north-west growth corridor and surrounding regional markets. The role is based in Gisborne and offers a broad mix of commercial leasing, portfolio management and client relationship responsibilities.
Suited to someone who enjoys variety and autonomy, this position will see you manage the full leasing process, oversee day-to-day commercial property management tasks and work closely with both landlords and tenants. It is a hands-on role for a capable operator who can stay on top of documentation, compliance, lease administration and maintenance coordination while also contributing to new business activity.
The role:
As the Commercial Leasing & Property Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of commercial leasing campaigns and a day-to-day commercial portfolio. The role includes leasing appraisals, authority preparation, inspections, applications, lease documentation, property set-up, rent and outgoings administration, arrears follow-up, key dates, maintenance and landlord/tenant communication.
You will also be involved in bond and bank guarantee management, option renewals, rent reviews including fixed and CPI increases, pre-make good and exit inspections, essential services coordination, invoice processing, outgoings reconciliation and, where required, mediation and VCAT attendance.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in commercial property management, commercial leasing, or a similar property role where you have handled documentation, compliance, tenant liaison and financial administration. You will be organised, proactive and confident managing competing priorities, while maintaining clear communication with landlords, tenants, contractors and support teams.
Experience with Property Tree, Inspections Express, lease administration, outgoings and trust-related processes will be highly regarded. A business development mindset and the ability to identify and convert new opportunities will also be valued in this role.
