ABOUT THE COMPANY AND THE ROLE:
Our client is a trust brand in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.  They are now on the hunt for an experienced Trust Accountant who will be responsible for managing and administering trust accounts and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

They are using PropertyMe software, which is now one of Melbourne's predominant software systems within the rental sector.  Prior experience would be advantageous.  Daily tasks include but not limited to;

• Daily Trust Account Reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions related to trust accounts.
• Processing Landlord disbursements
• Liaising with staff and clients via email and phone
• Participate in the development of financial strategies and initiatives related to trust accounts.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to trust accounting.

As an added bonus, if you are a dog lover, there is a lovely office dog who loves a pat now and again!

ABOUT YOU:
As an We are seeking a person who has a helpful, can do attitude,  happy to take the time to talk with the property managers/landlords to solve situations in the finance side.   The key skills you will need to succeed in this role are:

• Strong Trust accounting skills
• Exceptional time management and organisation
• Attention to detail with a commitment to excellence
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Strong computer literacy and efficiency
• Be conscientious and able to work autonomously
• Be able to follow instructions accurately

Salary is dependant on experience, circa $85,000 - $90,000
