ABOUT THE COMPANYAre you currently working as a business development manager or perhaps a real estate sales person with excellent sales skills looking to cut across to property management?
ABOUT THE ROLE With this role you will be actively working within a strong brand to increase the growth of the property management business. Building and nurturing relationships with landlords, new investors, prospective landlords, mortgage brokers, builders etc, you will love the thrill of the chase and making some excellent income along the way.
The business development manager will invest time into prospecting, networking to generating leads and managing the follow up and conversion of these leads. Ideally we are seeking someone with business development skills, who has a hunger to chase the rewards of commissioned income.
Your duties will include;
- Listing & leasing new properties
- Actively working through a database of current and warm clients through regular prospecting
- Establishing and maintaining a referral network
- Completing rental market appraisals.
- Completing well presented, accurate and enticing landlord proposals
- Hunting out all avenues of potential leads - working closely with the busy sales team, attending open for inspections (weekday and weekends if required) social media promotion etc
ABOUT YOU - Previous business development experience in property management/sales within real estate
- Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic & willingness to learn with a can-do attitude.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, strong communication skills both verbal & written with the ability to interact with clients and employees of all levels.
- Exceptional presentation with a knock-out customer service attitude which means you thrive on building positive relationships & making your clients smile.
- Outstanding prioritisation, time-management, multitasking, workflow planning & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pro-actively identify what needs to be done & work independently to execute as well as work productively as part of a team with high attention to detail.
- A commitment to quality, professionalism and confidentiality.
- An Agents Rep/ Cert 4 in Real Estate, drivers license and police check.
On offer is a great base salary plus generous commission structure - base circa $75,000 - $85,000 + super -there is real earning potential here! You will be working with the sales and property management team of three offices so some leads will be provided. Flexible working hours for the right person!
