The Opportunity
 
Reporting to the Underground Manager, you'll plan, design and deliver capital and improvement projects across our underground operation. These include dewatering and ventilation, services reticulation and mine development infrastructure. You'll be the link between engineering, operations and contractors, making sure every project lands safely, on time and on budget.
 
Roster: FIFO on a flexible 4/3, 4/3, 8/6 rotation, varied to suit workload and as agreed with your manager.

What You'll Do

• Scope, schedule and budget projects, including capex requests and business cases
• Coordinate mining, maintenance, electrical, geology and contractor teams to hit milestones
• Run feasibility studies and risk assessments, and tackle bottlenecks and downtime
• Report progress against KPIs to the Senior Leadership Team
• Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the Mining department

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Mining Engineering
• 8+ years' mining experience with strong underground technical and management skills
• Proven project and contractor management capability
• Proficiency in Deswik, MS Project, Excel and Power BI
• Current WA "C" class driver's licence
• WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate (desirable)
