Endurance's Abra Mine is located approximately 220km north of Meekatharra, in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The underground mine represents one of the world's cleanest and largest lead-silver projects.
 
Join Our Growing Team
 
We're seeking an experienced Process Technician Leading Hand to join our Processing team. The Leading Hand assists with the leadership and coordination of the processing plant, monitoring plant performance across all sections to ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently. You will cover all sections of the processing plant (Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, Dewatering, Control Room, and Paste Plant) and assist the Shift Supervisor when required, with the opportunity to act as Process Shift Supervisor for 3 swings per annum.
 
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cover the Shift Supervisor when required, with expectation to act as Process Shift Supervisor for 3 swings per annum
• Ensure plant operational targets are within guidelines to meet metallurgical targets
• Monitor trends and plant measurements to ensure optimal plant performance across all processing sections
• Report any significant process changes to the Shift Supervisor and Plant Metallurgist for timely resolution
• Safely operate industrial equipment, electrical parts, chemical reagents and lubricants in confined spaces and at heights
• Conduct regular operational checks and report in a timely manner to ensure plant defects are actioned promptly
• Complete plant logsheets, inspections, log books and handovers in accurate and timely manner
• Prepare comprehensive handovers at end of shift and roster period to ensure continuity of operations
• Communicate effectively within your crew and with cross-shifts for obtaining and transferring production information
• Coordinate with Maintenance and other supervisors on maintenance planning and implementation
• Willingness to train others and transfer knowledge in alignment with department training matrix
• Provide safety leadership and promote positive safety culture within the processing plant
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve processes and performance

What you'll bring

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in minerals processing industry at technician or Leading Hand level
• Current C Class Western Australian driver's licence
• S26 Statutory Supervisor's Certification
• Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, FactoryTalk, Pronto and INX systems
• Strong understanding of minerals processing operations across multiple plant sections
• Friendly and professional disposition with well-developed communication and consultation skills
• Ability to handle complex situations and make decisions under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to foster close working relationships across all levels
• Willingness to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment
• Demonstrated ability to train direct reports and transfer knowledge effectively
• Sound oral and written communication and language skills
• High level of emotional intelligence and commitment to promoting safety awareness
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work with attention to detail

Essential requirements:

• Current C Class Western Australian driver's licence
• S26 Statutory Supervisor's Certification (mandatory for acting Supervisor role)
• Minimum 5 years relevant minerals processing experience
• Ability to lift minimum of 15 kg from floor to waist and waist to overhead
• Ability to work safely and effectively in unsupervised settings
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and promoting safety culture
