The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Senior Marketing & Communications Executive to take ownership of how Nexia Sydney shows up—online, in the media, and within the firm. Reporting to the Marketing and Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role supporting the firm’s strategic growth objectives by leading our marketing and communications activity, including campaigns, social media, PR, and internal messaging.
While a highly autonomous role, you’ll work closely with our Sydney team and national colleagues to ensure our messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with the needs of the business. You’ll also support internal teams, across service-lines, by helping them communicate effectively and connect with the right audiences.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys leading projects, making decisions, and building marketing that’s practical, thoughtful, and helps the business grow. This is a role where you’ll have room to shape direction, influence reputation, and contribute to how Nexia is seen by clients, staff, and the wider market.
The Role
- Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including social media and content strategy, to drive brand awareness and business growth
- Manage Nexia Sydney’s brand presence across all channels, ensuring consistency with the firm’s visual identity and value proposition
- Drive thought leadership initiatives and implementing PR strategies to position Nexia as an industry leader
- Collaborate with the National Marketing Committee to deliver national campaigns tailored for the Sydney market
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver effective marketing solutions
- Monitor campaign performance and market trends to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
About You - Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and brand-aligned messaging that resonates with target audiences
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns
- Passionate about developing and managing an annual content strategy and calendar, ensuring alignment with firm priorities and market opportunities.
- Ability to create innovative, client-centric campaigns that strengthen client relationships and drive engagement
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (particularly LinkedIn), content creation, and audience engagement techniques
- Proven experience in brand management and maintaining consistency across all marketing touchpoints
- Ability to interpret data and analytics to inform decisions and optimise campaign performance
- Familiarity with PR strategy for enhancing brand awareness and reputation is desirable (but not essential)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across teams
- Knowledge of market research techniques and how to apply insights to marketing plans
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with competing priorities
- A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Understanding of professional services or B2B marketing (preferred but not essential)
- Minimum 5 years of Marketing or Agency experience
