About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Paraplanner to join our experienced team. This role offers flexibility – we are open to both full-time and part-time, as well as adaptable working arrangements to suit your needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside passionate Financial Advisers dedicated to delivering high quality, tailored wealth management solutions for individuals and businesses.
Your Focus:
As a Senior Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by preparing compliant and presentable Statements of Advice and Records of Advice. Your duties include:
- Working closely with the Financial Planners to develop strategy and recommendations
- Preparing SOAs and ROAs in a timely and well-presented manner for review
- Reviewing/preparing relevant financial modelling for clients using Financial Planning Software
- New Client meeting preparation and review, and implementation of post meeting actions
- Attend client meetings with the Financial Planners and take meeting minutes
- Conduct Product Research/Comparison and analyse data for strategy formulation
- Manage Workflow to meet service delivery standards
- Assisting and mentoring junior team members
- Managing existing client enquiries and attending to other ad hoc tasks such as placing trades, TWAs
You have: - 3+ years’ experience in paraplanning including drafting complex wholistic advice
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree; and
- Advanced Diploma in Financial Panning or RG146/FASEA compliance
- Experience with implementing wholistic advice
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian Superannuation and Taxation Rules and of Financial Planning Compliance
- An in-depth understanding of complex strategies including Super, Retirement SMSFs, Investment, Gearing and Debt reduction
