We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Nexia Finance team. This is a part-time role (15 hours per week). Gain hands-on experience in professional services environment and an opportunity to be mentored by experienced professionals. Flexible in the breakdown of hours to accommodate other commitments. 
  
You will work closely with our financial controller and other managers and directors, assisting with various tasks primarily related to accounts receivable management.

Responsibilities

• Receipt processing - reconcile receipts in Xero and identify over payments.
• Follow scripts and guidelines to call and email firms clients to collect outstanding accounts receivable.
• Negotiate payment terms with clients, liaise with fee funder.
• Process credit notes.
• Produce weekly debtor report.
• Address client queries promptly relating to missing invoices, payment status and account balances.
• Escalate complex issues to Financial Controller and Senior Managers as needed. 

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have strong attention to detail and organisation skills, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, eagerness to learn and contribute to the team and proficiency in MS Excel is a plus.
