We are searching for an experienced Analyst or Senior Analyst with relevant experience in a professional services firm in Corporate Finance, with the right attitude. You will be responsible for executing client engagements particularly in the aspects of carrying out analytical tasks, conducting desktop research and writing reports. This is an important analytical role, supporting the Manager, Director and the service line to ensure that all client work is properly undertaken, analysed and presented, in order to deliver the best quality outcome for our clients.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
- Prepare derivative security and business valuations, build and review financial models, prepare early drafts of financial due diligence reports, information memoranda, Independent Expert Reports.
- Carry out a wide variety of analytical tasks
- Conduct desktop research on companies, industry, economic environment and others
- Prepare early drafts of business proposals and engagement letters
- Client interaction where necessary to enable engagements to be conducted and managed
- Manage the early processes of client acceptance, conflict checks, client set up and compliance
- Manage and control internal templates for service offerings
- Support the Manager, Director and service line in any other ways when required to ensure that that all client work is properly undertaken, analysed and presented, in order to deliver the best quality outcome for our clients.

Qualifications & ExperienceWe are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, professional membership and qualification with either CFA, CA, CPA CFA or other Australian/internationally recognised professional accounting or finance body, or willingness to work towards this.
You will also have experience in valuation and financial modelling with strong financial analysis skills, understanding of relevant accounting standards (AASB) to support our clients and the Audit team in corporate finance related work, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail along with the ability to step back and look at the big picture.
