The opportunity:
We have the exciting opportunity for an ambitious and client focused Intermediate Accountants to join our Business Advisory team in Melbourne.
Under the guidance of experience Managers and Partners, you will be part of a friendly and professional team, delivering top-level accounting services to a variety of clients.
Your Focus:
- Manage the planning, execution and completion of client assignments
- Prepare financial statements, management and annual accounts
- Prepare tax returns including, GST, PAYG, FBT
- Liaise directly with clients to respond to queries or provide information
- Provide and analyse financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performance
- Create reports that help clients understand the drivers of their business and actions to improve performance
You have:
- 2+ years’ experience in public practice
- A degree in accounting/ finance
- CA/CPA Qualification or working towards it
- Experience with accounting software such as MYOB, APS and cloud based tools, e.g. Xero, QuickBooks etc.
- Strong analytical, judgement and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks to meet expectations
- A genuine interest and passion for building a career in Accounting and Business Advisory

- Full-time, ongoing role based in Melbourne/Naarm
- Hybrid role
- Start date ideally around March/April but we're flexible
