Nexia Melbourne has an exciting opportunity for a client focused Senior Manager to join our growing firm within the Business Advisory team.  

As a Senior Manager, you will play an important role in managing and delivering high-quality advice to our diverse client portfolio. As one of our leaders, you will be responsible for overseeing client engagements and managing a team of dedicated accountants. You will be involved in strategic planning and business development projects, working closely with the Partners to drive Nexia’s growth and success.

About you?
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate that:

• Have a minimum of 8 years' experience in a chartered firm; preferably Big 4 or Mid-Tier;
• Completed a degree in accounting/finance and the CA/CPA program or any further study that would benefit the team;
• Being well experienced in using accounting software including APS, FYI and cloud based tools, e.g. Xero, QuickBooks; 
• Great knowledge of accounting standards and reporting; responsibilities, with the ability to pass this knowledge onto others;
• Excellent research skills and able to accurately interpret taxation and other relevant legislation and rulings;
• Ensuring excellence in the provision of service to our clients;
• Being a great leader that leads by example and drives a positive, high-performance, and engaged team culture;
• Promotes business growth and develop new business;
• A commercial mindset.
