An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Bookkeeper, you will work under the guidance of an experienced Financial Controller and alongside an offshore team. The position is flexible in offering growth and support within the small team if this is a career goal, while also offering stability.
  
The salary range for this role is $80k-100k inclusive, dependent on experience.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:  

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable;
• Managing Petty Cash & Banking;
• Corporate Credit Card Reconciliation;
• Multifactor banking;
• Internal & External Stakeholders Correspondence;
• End-of-Month Reporting;
• End-of-Month Journal Entries;
• Intercompany Reconciliations;
• Amortisation schedules;
• Other Accounts Administrative tasks as directed by the Financial Controller.

What you’ll need to succeed
  
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with bookkeeping/end-to-end accounts experience. You will ideally have high volume transaction processing of AP/AR/Payroll knowledge. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure. Experience in MYOB AccountRight accounting system is essential.  We are seeking someone who is a team player but can work autonomously and with minor supervision. You need to have good communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and willing to hit the ground running in this busy role supporting management and the accounting department. An understanding of the mortgage industry or banking would be beneficial but not essential.
