Journeyman Electrician Lead - Oilfield (Carlsbad / Hobbs, NM)Crossroads is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician Lead to support our growing operations in Southeast New Mexico. This is a hands-on leadership role working across wellsites, SWDs, and oilfield facilities—ideal for someone who can lead a crew, communicate with customers, and take ownership of field execution. What You'll Do
Lead and execute oilfield electrical installations across wellsites, SWDs, CTBs, and facilities
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems in upstream environments
Supervise and mentor crews of 4-8 electricians and apprentices
Ensure all work meets electrical code and safety standards
Communicate directly with customers on job progress and updates
Complete QA/QC documentation and job reporting
What You Bring (Must-Have)
New Mexico Journeyman License (EE-98J or EE-98)
5+ years of upstream oil & gas electrical experience
Proven experience leading crews (5+ personnel) and running jobs
Experience estimating oilfield electrical work
Valid driver's license with clean 3-year abstract
Ability to pass drug & alcohol testing and background check
Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
Nice to Have
Spanish language skills
Local to Carlsbad or Hobbs
Strong network within local trades
Compensation & Perks
$40-$55/hour (based on experience)
