About the Opportunity

We are building a talent pool of Commercial and Multi-Family Electricians, including registered apprentices and journeypersons, to support current and upcoming projects across Alberta. This talent pool will be used to connect qualified candidates with client companies as hiring needs arise in commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential projects, including new construction, renovations, and upgrades.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial and multi-family projects
• Read and interpret drawings, prints, schematics, and specifications
• Perform installations such as conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, distribution, and related electrical equipment
• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure safe and compliant operation
• Support inspection readiness and address deficiencies as required
• Ensure work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), Alberta Safety Codes, and applicable regulations
• Follow workplace and site-specific safety policies and procedures
• Participate in safety meetings and required site orientations
• Work safely in active construction environments, including working at heights and around other trades
• Coordinate work with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades
• Communicate effectively to support scheduling, workflow, and project requirements
• Support and mentor apprentices in safe work practices and skill development
• Supervisor roles are intended for experienced journeyperson electricians with demonstrated leadership and site coordination experience
• Complete required documentation, including work records and material usage
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications 

• Registered Electrician Apprentice (any year)
• Alberta Journeyperson Electrician certification
• Red Seal or recognized interprovincial equivalency is required if certification is obtained outside of Alberta.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices
• Experience with commercial, industrial, or multi-family electrical systems is an asset
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and climbing
