About the role As part of the back-of-house magic show, you’ll be crafting dishes that balance flavor, speed, and presentation. From handmade dumplings to stir-fries and banquet feasts, every plate you touch will be a little piece of art (with a sprinkle of chilli oil).
Your responsibilities: - Prep, cook, and plate dishes with flair, consistency, and top-notch quality.
- Support menu innovation with modern twists while keeping the classics perfect.
- Keep service speedy and smooth — even when the ticket machine is spitting fire.
- Manage stock, portion sizes, and reduce wastage like a kitchen ninja.
- Train, mentor, and inspire junior staff (sharing your kitchen wisdom is part of the gig).
- Uphold food safety and compliance — sparkling clean kitchen = happy customers.
- Collaborate with FOH to deliver seamless service and five-star guest experiences.
About you You’ll shine in this role if you: - Have previous chef or cook experience (bonus points if you’ve run the pass during a dinner rush).
- Are passionate about flavor, plating, and creating memorable dining moments.
- Can multitask like a boss — timing is everything when the woks are blazing.
