The Human Resources team is based at the Broadmeadows head office within the Eastmeadows campus, supporting staff across all campuses. The Role Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Officer will provide high-volume HR administration and first-line support across the employee lifecycle.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys HR administration, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and responsive support to staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR enquiries from staff across multiple campuses
- Providing administrative support across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance processes and documentation
- Preparing employment contracts, letters and HR correspondence
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring HR documentation remains accurate and compliant
- Monitoring the HR inbox and responding to queries via phone, email and face-to-face interactions
- Supporting HR projects, policy updates and process improvements as required
Key Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong administrative capability with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- A Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
