What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a People and Talent Partner who is ready to roll up their sleeves and work side-by-side with our Head of People & Talent to help us scale, grow, and keep the vibe at Valiant strong. You’ll be an integral part of our team, responsible for everything from recruiting talented professionals to making sure our culture stays at the heart of everything we do.

Your Role:

• Work alongside the Head of People & Talent to manage end-to-end recruitment for Product Specialists, ensuring we find the best talent to drive Valiant’s success.
• Own the onboarding process for new hires and make sure their first days are memorable and smooth. You’ll be the first face our new team members see (besides the hiring manager, of course)!
• Collaborate with our Manila P&C Specialist to ensure background checks for new employees are completed on time and accurately. We take hiring seriously!
• Assist the Head of P&T with tracking, submitting, and managing sponsorship and VISA applications for employees. You’ll help make sure our international talent gets the support they need.
• Keep the People & Culture drive updated with resources, policies, and documents that keep our team informed and aligned with our values.
• Organise swag, manage stock, and get involved in presenting at our EOM wrap-ups. You’ll help keep our employees excited and engaged!
• Team up with our Office Manager to plan and organise awesome company events like the Christmas party, EOFY celebrations, and quarterly get-togethers that keep the vibe at Valiant fun and energised.
• Be the friendly face people turn to for any People and Culture-related questions, offering guidance on policies, benefits, and general support.
• Regularly check in with our sales team to gather feedback, offer support, and make sure everyone has what they need to succeed.
• Keep our master employee list up to date, ensuring we have accurate and current data for all team members.
• Manage the employee referral bonus program, track referrals, keep employees updated, and celebrate those who bring top talent to the team.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A passion for building strong company culture and helping people grow in their careers.
• Some exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations is desirable (experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a bonus!).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with ease.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to making sure everything runs smoothly.
