A leading construction company in their field is expanding and looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team.  They have a solid reputation for reliability, safety, and performance, hence the increase in demand for tenders.
 
The Role
 
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new projects by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for tenders. You'll work closely with the pre-construction team, quantity surveyors, and operational staff to ensure bids reflect the true scope, risks, and opportunities of each project.
 
What you'll be doing

• Analyse tender documents and drawings to produce detailed estimates
• Producing full take-offs and facilitate the creation of bills of quantities
• Track costs, variations, and market trends to ensure competitive pricing
• Support handover to operations team upon contract award

Your skills, experience and qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in construction
• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, materials, and regulations
• Proficiency in estimating software with excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Relevant qualification in construction, civil engineering, or quantity surveying preferred
