Location: East Midlands
Salary: £30k - £50k (pro rata and depending on experience) + benefits
Hours: 16 to 25 hours per week, flexible over 4-5 days with a mix of home working
 
Join this innovative team as a part-time Bookkeeper, managing the financials of a small but growing company. They’re an ambitious, capable, and driven team with a flexible and family-friendly approach.

What you’ll be doing:

• Bookkeeping
• Managing all ledgers
• Payroll processing
• Financial reporting
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Billing and payments
• Reconciliations
• Financial planning
• Assisting in year-end accounts preparation
• Submitting accounts to external accountants
• Participating in other project work

About You:

• Experienced in modern IT accounting software
• Ambitious and eager to progress
• Confident in liaising at a senior level and advising on best practices
• Competent and experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant with relevant qualifications (AAT or equivalent)
• Highly detail-oriented and accurate
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
