Due to an internal secondment, we are seeking a Relationship Manager, Charitable Trusts to join our Philanthropy & Community Trustee Services team. In this role, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of charitable trusts, working closely with co-trustees, advisory boards, community leaders and internal specialists to deliver exceptional governance, investment oversight and philanthropic outcomes.

You'll play a key role in helping charitable trusts achieve their objectives while ensuring the highest standards of governance, compliance and client service
What you'll do:
As a trusted advisor and relationship manager, you will:
- Manage a portfolio of charitable trusts, ensuring trustee obligations and trust objectives are delivered.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with co-trustees, advisory panel members, investment managers and sector partners.
- Coordinate governance activities, trustee meetings, reporting and secretariat functions.
- Oversee trust administration, cashflow forecasting and investment review processes.
- Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent Equity Trustees at client meetings, industry events and within the philanthropic community.
- Support the delivery of grants and charitable distributions in line with governance and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need to succeed: To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in client relationship and stakeholder management, ideally within financial services, wealth management, trustee services, private banking, family office or the social sector.
- Strong ability to engage, influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of investment markets, managed funds and portfolio construction.
- Experience preparing and reviewing cashflow forecasts. Experience in reading and reviewing performance reports and investment review documentation will also be well regarded.
- Excellent written communication, analytical and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and continuous improvement mindset.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications. RG146 (or equivalent) will also be well regarded.
- Experience in charitable trusts, philanthropy, law, finance or social impact will be highly regarded.
